This website is a great place to experiment and make your own volcano (choose the viscosity - how quickly or slowly the lava will flow, and gas amounts). The site also gives great information about the volcanoes we are studying.

This is an up to date list of minerals. This cite is very informative. It shows everything you want to know about the mineral (fracture/cleavage; crystal patterns; if it "glows"; etc. CHECK IT OUT!!!
