Australia - The Land Down Under - Video and Review Games for the Year

Haven't you just loved learning about the culture of the people from another continent and seeing the landforms of  the beautiful country  so far away from where we live.  Here is a short video that is just audio that you haven't seen that you can share with your family and tell them some of the information that you learned.

Blast Off! Time to have some fun with Space Games to help study for your quiz!

I did the Birth of a Star Puzzle first.  It was a very beautiful picture, and not very hard.

Science - Study Session Quick Review Morning the Test, Thursday, 2/16, 8:50 - 9:30 During Homeroom

Mrs. DeSimone's class or Mrs. Antonuccio's class-   STUDY!

During homeroom, when your bus gets in, on your way to breakfast, make sure you get a pass, and give it to your homeroom teacher

Social Studies - Latin America - Study for Map Quiz Tues 2-7- (Morreale)Political and Physical 2-6 FUN!

Here is the fun way to study!    Ms. Morreale's quiz is on Tues., Feb. 7, and Mrs. Mikhail's will be near the end of the week.

These maps let you know right away if you have the right answer!  Remember, we really only have 8 countries on the quiz. so make sure that you truly know where they are.

Columbia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Brazil, Panama, Mexico, Haiti and Cuba are.

The Physical features that you must know are the Andes Mountains, the Sierras Madres,  Panama Canal, Atacama Desert, Amazon River, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, the Equator, Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn.

Cool "Study Jam" for the Water Cycle - Watch the Video - Study for Quiz -Mrs. DeSimone's class

Mrs. Antonuccio and Mrs. DeSimone's Science classes - Rocks Sept. 13 Website

Since we will be getting ready for a test soon on igneous and sedimentary rocks, I found a great way for you to begin reviewing.  Here is a website to review.  It is Geology for Kids.  It does have some advertising, but read the information and then click the arrow that says next.  It has great pictures.

THEN,  play the game,  What Rock am I?   There is a place to click on the left that says geology games.  Try to remember what you have learned about the differences between igneous and sedimentary rocks.
