Chick Fil A Night on Chastain Road

Palmer's PTSA and the manager of Chick Fil A on Chastain Road have invited Palmer's Chorus to perform at Chick Fil A on Tuesday, May 5th.  Our chorus will receive a donation from Chick Fil A totaling 20% of food purchased between 5:00 & 8:00 pm.  Please come support our chorus by having dinner at Chick Fil A on Chastain Road Tuesday night!

I am asking 7th grade chorus to sing: "America, Of Thee I Sing!", "Elijah & Joshua", and "Alexander's Ragtime Band." We will conclude our short program by having ALL Palmer Chorus students perform "Rock 'N' Roll  Party Tonight!"  Students should wear regular school clothes and meet me (and my baby Gracie) at Chick Fil A on Chastain Road at 6:15 pm.  We should be finished singing by 6:45.  Students MUST be chaperoned by a parent or guardian.  Do NOT drop off students and leave them.  Thanks. I hope to see you there!!!!

Spring Concert, May 12th

Invite your family and friends to join us on Thursday, May 12th for our presentation of "America, Of Thee I Sing!"  Our concert will begin at 7:00 PM in the Palmer Theater.  All chorus students must wear their uniforms and sign in by 6:45.  I look forward to seeing you there!

Welcome, Miss Heagy!!!

I am proud to announce that Miss Sarah Heagy has been selected as my supply teacher while I am on maternity leave.  I am confident that she will do a fabulous job and take good care of my choirs while I am away.  She will begin teaching in my place as soon as the baby arrives (due Feb. 22nd).  I will be gone for only six weeks and be in constant contact with Miss Heagy.  Please help me welcome and support her!

Upcoming Concert

Our next concert is Thursday, March 12th at 7:00.  Students should sign in by 6:45 and report to the theater wearing full concert uniform.  The concert should end by 7:45.

                           

FUNDRAISER

Please support Palmer's Chorus program by purchasing KISS Candles.  To see the quality of the candles, please visit the KISS website.  Each candle sells for $12 and Palmer's chorus receives 50% profit. This is more than any other fundraiser I have found.  Each student was given a brochure and letter during class. You may download the letter here:  Download chorus_fundraiser_letter.doc 

Checks should be made payable to the student's parent. The parent is then asked to write one check for the total made payable to Palmer Middle School.  Orders and money are due Monday, October 13th. The candles will be delivered to Palmer during the week of October 27th.
