Mr. Doyle Register was our guest clinician on Thursday, September 6th. Palmer's men learned how the voice changes and how they can successfully sing throughout this change. What a sound to hear 40 middle school boys making beautiful music together. Way to go, guys!!!!

Scales

Students interested in auditioning for All State Chorus will need to sing the scales for me. Here are some links to help you practice.

Major Scale

Minor Scale - You will be able to hear a minor scale played, but beware. I have taught you to sing the minor scale starting on LA. This website starts the minor scale on DO. Both ways are correct, but I think it's easier to start on LA as I've taught you to do.

Chromatic Scale

Here's an example of me singing the scales starting on Middle C. The students do this so much better than I do. Please don't laugh. :)
