Hello my new 6th grade class. I hope you had a fantastic winter break and have enjoyed our first week together. On Monday you will all be presenting your "heads". Your first project was to take your face portrait and make it a collage of all the unique and wonderful things about you. This week we will also be looking at decision making, goal setting, peer pressure and stress. All of these things fall under our mental health topic. I will be explaining how to do your article reviews this week as well. That will be your first homework assignment this week and it will be due on Friday. Every year, kids in North America spend close to half a billion dollars on chewing gum! Have a great week.
