ALL SCIENCE CLASSES
MIND JOGGER: Take out your "Palmer Panther Problems" and get ready to check!
CLASS ACTIVITIES: Today in science we discussed "salinity" and linked it to the composition of the ocean and density. Students participated in the lab "Some Like it Salty" where they tried to see how many spoonfuls fo salt would cause their egg to float. Students were put into teams, made their predictions and conducted their experiment. Each team shared their data as students were expected to create a bar graph comparing their data to the other teams. Students also wrote a paragraph summarizing their experiement and analyzing their data. If students did not complete this in class they will need to complete it for homework!
HOMEWORK: Finish the graphing and summarizing portion of your lab if you did complete it in class today!
