String Award Nominees

CONGRATULATIONS to the String Award Nominees for the first nine weeks!!!! Your hard work paid off!

Remember if you were not nominated for the String Award the first nine weeks, you can always make it the next three!! You have to be nominated for it 3 out of the 4 nine weeks to receive the String Award at the end of the year!!!

If you have forgotten what qualifies you for the String Award, they are the following:

à                           Maintain at least a B average

à                           Turn in the practice card 8 of the 9 weeks ON TIME

à                           Practice the required amount of minutes per week - 8 of the 9 weeks

à                           Come to class on time and set up immediately

à                           Pass inspection by having all required materials and equipment at each rehearsal:

1.       Instrument

2.     Rosin

3.     Soft cleaning cloth

4.     Pencil

5.     Method Book, Music and folder

6.     Name on instrument case

7.     Shoulder pad or end pin stop.

• Come to all required concerts for your grade level.

à                           Receive no more than 2 misbehavior points (see CONDUCT in the orchestra handbook)
