The CRCT's are 7 school days away! We have been working hard this year, but we can't lose our momentum. I have given the students a practice test, so they can see the level of difficulty, etc. I encouraged them to do one practice per day. Feel free to work with them on vocabulary, encourage SSR time daily, anything you can do to positively affect their reading comprehension over the break. Their CRCT score will determine whether they are placed in Reading 8 or Foreign language. Even students that pass by a small margin will most likely take Reading again in 8th grade. Let's all work together to help them be successful!

New wish for the kids
Parents, as your kids outgrow their books and you do not have a use for them, we would love to take them off of your hands and put them into our class library. All levels of childrens/adolescent books welcome. Also, children's/teen educational magazines are welcome too.
Earn Palmer Dollars for Supplies
Palmer families-your child can earn some additional palmer dollars for bringing in the following items:
*paper towels
*tissues
*hand sanitizer
*ream(s) of copy paper
*peppermints for testing days
SSR Books
Students-be sure to have an SSR book for class everyday!!!!
