All Classes- Today we finished our LOGO Tasks and handed out Progress Reports!
Homework- Progress Reports must be brought back signed by Thursday along with any missing assignments:) March Madness however will NOT be taken for a late grade.

Blue- Today we checked our Palmer Panther Problems and used a powerpoint to fill out our transformations flipbook!
Homework- CRCT pgs.37-39
Green, Red and Purple- Today we checked our Palmer Panther Problems and looked at rotations(clockwise and counter clockwise). We also used our CRCT books to review line and rotational symmetry: pgs.37-39 and 43-45 odds!

All Classes- Today we had SSR and used whiteboards to review line symmetry. We created words which had both vertical and horizotal symmetry, and looked at common shapes! We also brainstormed about which shape has an infinite number of lines of symmetry:)
Homework- Problem Solving pg. 74 and textbook pg.466 #9-16(Blue must do #9-17)

Blue- Checked Palmer Panther Problems! Today we practiced our Brain Dump for the CRCT and took our Pre- Test for our Symmetry/Transformations unit! We also looked at a video clip and powerpoint presentation to help us see where symmetry is found outside of the math classroom! We looked at nature, architectire/design, sports and the alphabet/numbers.

Blue and Red- Today we started working on our "What are my chances?" Task! We were flipping coins, rolling dice and picking cards to determine the experimental and theoretical probabilities.

Green and Purple- Today we had an assembly during Green period and we looked at our Problem Solving Workbook to see the difference between Experimental and Theoretical Probability!

Blue and Red- Today we went over our Palmer Panther Problems and used a PowerPoint to look at Theoretical Probability. We also worked in our problem solving workbook on pg.105.
Homework- Finish up your CRCT workbook and we will check it tomorrow for accuracy:)
Green and Purple- Today we checked our Palmer Panther Problems and collected our March Madness. We also talked about events which are likely and those which are unlikely. Using our problem solving workbook we used our new knowledge of probability and how we can express them in decimals, percents and fractions to look at floods!! We also looked at experimental probability with coins and spinners:)
Homework- CRCT Holt workbook pgs. 79-81 EVENS!

Blue and Red- Today we had SSR and collected our March Madness Calendars. We also completed a simulation and looked at the classes results to see if they were the same or different. Tomorrow we will talk about why it is important to do more than one simulation!

Green and Purple- Today we took our Unit 8 Post! I am so excited to grade them... they look awesome!
