Welcome!

J0097511 I'm so excited about the Palmer Book Blog for the 2009-2010 school year!  I know it is difficult to meet as a book club before or after school, so I thought a book blog would allow us to discuss what we're reading without having to be face to face!  I look forward to hearing from you and talking about books!

Suggested Instructions for Posts

Please adhere to the following guidelines when participating on this blog:

1) First and foremost, all dialogue must be appropriate! No profanity, slang, or derogatory comments.  We are here to communicate about books and reading, not to insult one another.  I will be reviewing all comments before they post, so please do not be rude.

2) Never reveal the ending of a book!!!!  The idea of a summary is to encourage (or discourage) someone from reading a book so PLEASE do not reveal the conclusion.  No one will want to read it after that.

3) Be sure to proofread your comment before publishing it.  The blog is available to everyone so you want to submit writing that represents your ability to write, spell, and form sentences.

4) If you wish to include your name, only use your first name and last initial for security purposes. If you want your name to appear with the comment, then you must include it as part of the comment.  Otherwise it will appear anonymous.

5) Have fun!!!  Share your thoughts, concerns, joys, and sorrows in relation to your reading experiences, and I will do the same.  I look forward to chatting with you!
