Instructional Methods

Use of video clips, power points, textbook information, and computer research to complete a graphic organizer (the video clips and presentation of the power point would take one class period or half a block period and computer research could take one traditional class period or half a block period)
Utilize Graphic Organizer (chart) or guided notes to gather information (you could use the guided notes during the power point and the chart during the textbook and computer research. The guided notes and/or chart could be a class work completion grade

AC/ Enriched Social Studies Blog Project

For our current unit, Europe in Transition , the students investigated and uncovered the major developments in Europe from the 1850's through the 1940's. Students were placed into groups and each group was assigned a topic to research and summarize. Each group put their information into a blog. The students' blogs have been linked to my blog. You can click on a class period and read each period's blog. As you read each blog, make sure to click on the links that the students have attached. Also, complete the assessment. The students did a great job!
