Bookbag Policy for 2011-2012 School Year

Students may continue to bring materials to and from school in a bookbag or a stringbag.  Once on campus, however, all bookbags, string bags, and large purses must be placed in lockers.  This policy has been changed for safety reasons.  Our classes are larger, requiring more student desks per room.  All student materials must fit under the student’s desk; materials overflowing into the aisles become a safety hazard.  Students return to their lockers throughout the day, and they will not be asked to carry more than two classes’ worth of materials at any one time.  Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
